Elphaba's wardrobe was sadly lacking in a lot of color. Or much beyond blacks, dark blues, and grays. "It's refreshing, isn't it?" she said. "I think the awkwardness and confusion was quite worth it all. It really helped me appreciate how much I like not being a boy."
